Luna Alatorre is a Mexican American visual artist and creative based in NYC. Being born and raised in an isolating part of the South, Luna’s personal work seeks answers from her relationship with media that can only be described as digitally transcendental. Often utilizing her deep understanding of contemporary history, she offers her clients a service aimed at immersing them in the counter culture of the Western world. All in hopes of welcoming the new, innovative, and unknown.

Formerly at SPOTIFY and currently at GBA.
She has experiences and collaborations with:

INTERVIEW Magazine, COMPLEX, CULTURED Magazine, LUAR, THE NEW SCHOOL, SOW.NYC,

Luna is a Parsons School of Design honors graduate (BFA in Communication Design) and part of Scope of Work (SOW NYC).

Her talent resides in her hobbies of archiving and sourcing vintage ad campaigns, video game designs, album packaging, editorials, and pop culture memorabilia. Ranging from 90s Japanese/Chinese editorials/albums/toys to mid 2000’s Mexican graphic books, Luna uses her roladex of references from the past to build her work for the future.
